Marcie Baetcke is a growth marketing expert utilizing a strong data-driven approach with 20+ years of producing real value through omni-channel marketing and strategic branding, demand generation, and campaign execution.
She thrives off leveraging her entrepreneurial spirit to enhance and grow market strategies, utilizing data-driven analytics strategies, journey optimization, A/B testing, and digital campaigns founded upon a test and learn culture to achieve scalable growth.
Previously, Marcie served as Vice President of Marketing at American Public Education, Inc. (NASDAQ: APEI), where she led high-performing teams, including those responsible for paid media (digital and traditional), social media, journey and audience strategy, marketing automation, landing pages, brand management, market research, product marketing, and budgeting/forecasting.
Prior to APEI, Marcie held a variety of marketing positions at organizations including AOL, Gannett Digital, and XM Satellite Radio. She has worked across several industries including Media/Publishing, SaaS, e-Commerce, Education, and Health & Wellness. While serving as president of the D.C. Chapter of the American Marketing Association, Marcie’s chapter won “Best in Class” among the largest chapters in the U.S. and Canada.
Marcie earned a BSBA in Business Administration and an MPA from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. She lives in Reston, VA with her husband and their son.
