President

Beth LaGuardia Cooper is President of Advantage Media Group, and is responsible for overseeing its vast Publishing and Authority Building services and operations for all of its brands, including Forbes Books, SXSW Books, Entrepreneur Books, Advantage Books, and Performance Publishing.

Beth LaGuardia Cooper leads all product and service delivery operations at Advantage, ensuring that every client receives a world-class experience across publishing, authority-building, and promotional programs. Key tenets of her philosophy include an emphasis on strategic relationships and customer experience; data-informed and collaborative decision-making; and application of innovative brand approaches that ensure sustained category leadership.

Previously, Beth served as CMO for Advantage. Prior to Advantage, she had marketing leadership roles including CMO at American Public Education (NASDAQ: APEI). During her tenure, she helped grow the organization from $20M to $600M in annual revenue and built the marketing team from 4 to 50 professionals.

Prior to APEI, Beth held a variety of product management and marketing communications positions for organizations in the B2B and B2C technology services and B2B marketing agency spaces. Ms. LaGuardia Cooper earned an A.B. in Economics from Duke University and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Maryland. She speaks regularly to audiences on proven CEO strategies to grow authority for impact and relationship-focused brand strategy.

Beth lives in Charleston, SC with her husband and their teenage daughter.
