Forbes Books’ Director of Podcast Reveals His Secrets in New Book

Forbes Books Director of Podcasts and veteran radio personality, Joe Pardavila, is sharing his winning techniques for generating captivating interviews and conversations in his new book, Good Listen: Creating Memorable Conversations in Business and Life

As our Director of Podcasts, he regularly assists authors in honing their communications skills and creating their own podcasts. Pardavila is also the host of Uncertain Times and The ForbesBooks Audio Podcast.

In Good Listen, Pardavila shares with readers his insights and knowledge for creating a podcast that will appeal to listeners and keep them coming back for more. But you don’t need to have a podcast to benefit from Pardavila’s wisdom because his tips for connecting with others also apply to work, love and life.

Drawing on his days as a New York radio personality, Pardavila also weaves into his book anecdotes involving luminaries like Taylor Swift, Russell Crowe, Jennifer Aniston, John Mayer and Chris Martin to demonstrate how interviews can go wonderfully right or terribly wrong.

Joe has enjoyed a long career in podcasting and terrestrial radio. He previously was a radio personality and producer on the New York City radio station 95.5 PLJ, where he was part of the “Scott & Todd in the Morning” show. He studied sketch and improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade and was a founding member and actor in the New York-based sketch comedy group, Clip Show.
